We still have an open spot for anyone who would like to be Set Chair for this school year.
Set Chairs duties include:
- Attending weekend crew sessions where you will lead the group in the construction of our set
- Making sure people know when crews are happening either by recruiting people on your own or contacting the secretary so an e-mail can be sent out
- Attend production meetings during the rehearsal period of the show
- Stay in contact with the director and set designer to stay up to date about what needs to be done
- Keeping the wood loft, flat loft, and tool storage areas as organized as possible
You do NOT have to design the set yourself, you are just responsible for implementing the design you have been given.
Prior experience is NOT necessary, but a plus. You should know how to use power tools, though.
