Several of our theater classes are in danger of being canceled. Please, if you have an empty slot in your schedule, sign up for these classes. Cancel them as soon as the semester starts, but we need you on the registrar for the next few days. Even better, take these wonderful classes!
Acting II needs 5 more students. It takes place TTh from 3:05-4:20pm.
Acting II is Duquesne's acting course that focuses on realistic acting. By studying thinkers such as Uta Hagen and Constantin Stanislavski, students get the theoretical work behind acting. By working in groups and individually, students get a great hands-on workshop experience.
Technical Theater needs 1 more student! It takes place MWF from 12:00-12:50
Technical Theater is an introductory course in the design and implementation of lights, costumes, and sets. Taught by three local professionals, this course offers their real-world experiences in a hands-on environment. Students who do well can apply to be on the IATSE #3 work list for stagehand jobs in the Pittsburgh area.
